Long-time residents and quiet contributors to the Kohala community, Patrick Rankin and Jane Hayden are now in need of that support. Janie has been struggling with cancer for several years. She is now at home in hospice. Patrick has been taking care of Janie for several years. So he has not been able to take care of business adequately. Combined with the continued financial impacts of the pandemic, they are struggling.
