The most unique and absolutely breathtaking experience! Richard’s lounge is a hidden gem of North Kohala. Great cigar selection, killer view, cozy and welcoming atmosphere of old Hawaii - you’ll find all of that at Cigar and Ukulele Lounge! This is THE place for an unforgettable sunset - even if you don’t enjoy cigars. Do yourself a favor and book a relaxing evening at the lounge - you won’t be disappointed!
Feb 2020 well, I like cigars and I hate ukulele's (but love guitars). So they had a good selection of cigars and I bought a couple made with Kauai tobacco (I know, I know...,bad smoker...bad person of white privilege...tobacco bad...tobacco bad...maui wowie, though is GOOD), so forgive me. The ukulele's seemed to be of unusually high quality and there were a half dozen guitars on the wall, including a Gurian nylon string, which frankly is like finding a piece of moon rock. A gurian? I visited Michael gurian in NYC back in the 70's and he's a legend. So in the grand scheme of tacky or weird or overpriced souvenir schlock shops on the planet, this was actually really kind of interesting and if you are disposed towards EITHER cigars or guitars (or ukes) stop in, and more importantly, buy something to keep this type of place in business!
